(PRBuzz.com) August 21, 2012 -- Troma Entertainment stars Lisa Gaye and Leesa Rowland have signed on for cameo appearances in Return to the Class of Nuke 'Em High currently shooting in Niagra Falls. It will be directed by Troma legend Lloyd Kaufman and produced for Starz Channel. Leesa and Lisa have a cult following for their memorable lead roles of Victoria (Ms. Rowland) and Professor Holt (Ms. Gaye) in The Class of Nuke 'em High trilogy in parts 2 and 3. Professor Holt had a trademark 3 foot beehive in Parts 2 and 3 and Victoria had a mouth on her belly. Return to the Class of Nuke 'Em High deals with the universal challenges that face American teenagers, in the same vein as other 80's cult classics such as Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Carrie, as seen through the prism of the Troma Team's distinct vision.
The film follows the story of a unique couple that is up against the school glee club. Unfortunately, the glee club has mutated into a gang called "The Cretins." When the other students begin to undergo mutations, our couple must solve the mystery and save Tromaville High School.
The original Class of Nuke 'Em High was a seminal and successful 1980's sci-fi satire and an official selection at film festivals such as San Sebastian, Tokyo Fantasy Film Festival, AFI/ Kennedy Center and Anthology Film Archives among others.
Lisa Gaye and Leesa Rowland also star in the popular series Two City Girls.
