A federal court ordered a preliminary injunction that limits sales of Medtronic Inc.'s (NYSE: MDT) CoreValve system because CoreValve willfully infringed on an Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (NYSE: EW) patent. Shares of Edwards Lifesciences leaped $8.79 to $81.76 while Medtronic stock lost 98 cents to $58.22.
