Illumina Inc. (Nasdaq: ILMN) reversed year ago losses of 8 cents per share to post a profit of 12 cents per share but the results fell short of estimates and the genetic analysis instrument maker forecast disappointing fourth quarter income. The stock price plunged $8.07 to $33.59.
