New Hampshire American Legion Riders Receive Donated Website

Danconia Media has donated websites to several area nonprofit organizations, including the Salem Animal Rescue League, Community Services Council of New Hampshire and Strafford Nutrition Meals on Wheels.

WEARE, N.H. - The State of New Hampshire American Legion Riders, which has 17 chapters throughout the Granite State, has received a donated website designed by full-service agency Danconia Media.

The American Legion Riders received the website as part of a Veterans Day donation to a veteran-run organization. Alaina Murphy, secretary and communications director of the organization, said she was pleasantly surprised to receive the donation.

“The news about being the recipients of a website makeover was quite a surprise,” she said. “We are very impressed with how Danconia Media took our old site information and represented the N.H. American Legion Riders with their innovative design work.”

The site - located at www.nhalr.org - features content about the organization and its riders, a calendar of events, photo albums, a guestbook and a list of resources, among other things. It was built with a highly user-friendly, yet robust, content management system (CMS) that the organization can now use to maintain the site in-house. The site also features integration with social media sites Facebook and YouTube.

“The staff is great to work with and work hard to meet your design and media needs,” Murphy said. “We are looking forward to continue working with Danconia Media with any of our future endeavors. The website is very clean, concise and easy to get around.”
