The Town of Chapel Hill website was recently recognized by the North Carolina Association of Government Information Officers (NCAGIO). The dynamic government website created with Vision Internet received first place in the website category of the 2010 Excellence in Communications Award competition. This is the fifth industry award given to the website since Chapel Hill’s decision to switch to Vision Internet.

The Town also received a third place Communications Award within the publications category for their online Guide to Services. By providing their annual service guide within the park and recreation section of the website, the Town was able to cut printing costs and continue to meet their communication needs in the midst of a shrinking budget.
