ZOMM, LLC (zomm.com), a global technology company and developer of the world’s first Wireless Leash for cell phones, announces its selection as a finalist in the Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s (SIG) 6th Annual Best of CES 2011 Awards. ZOMM is being recognized as one of the most innovative, Bluetooth-enabled devices of the year, and the category winners and overall winning product will officially be announced on Jan. 7, 2011. All new products and features will be on display at CES 2011 in the North Hall, Booth #1035C in the New Products Marketplace area.

Using Bluetooth technology, the keychain-sized ZOMM prevents users from losing or misplacing their mobile phone by vibrating, flashing lights and sounding an alarm when they separate from their phone. Each product was carefully reviewed and judged by the Bluetooth SIG based on a variety of criteria including interoperability testing, containing expected profiles and ease of use. Bonus points were awarded to those products that included Experience Icons on the product packaging or the product website, and also for products utilizing the newly adopted Bluetooth v4.0 specification.

Category winners and an overall winner will be announced at the “Tweet House It Won’t Stay in Vegas” party at the Atomic Testing Museum the evening of Jan. 7, 2011 during the International Consumer Electronics Show.
