Magicard Rio Pro and Rio Pro Duo Now Available at ID Wholesaler

Two new ID card printers are now available from Magicard: the Magicard Rio Pro single-sided printer and Rio Pro Duo dual-sided printer. Both printers offer a number of built-in and upgradeable features, allowing businesses to customize the printer to their specific needs.

While the Rio Pro is available as a single- or dual-sided printer, customers who are unsure can purchase the single-sided option and easily upgrade later. Simply drop in the special ribbon included with the upgrade kit and the printer instantly becomes a dual-sided printer.

With the Rio Pro’s 100-card capacity input hopper and 70-card stacker, customers get worry-free, continuous batch card printing. There is also an option to produce cards on-the-fly with the hand-feed slot. The printer also offers built-in security features with Magicard’s exclusive HoloKote technology that adds a security watermark during the normal print cycle. The watermark becomes visible when viewed at an angle and can be enabled or disabled in the driver. Custom HoloKote is also available for added security.

The Rio Pro has built-in USB and Ethernet with Windows 7, XP, and Vista (32/64 bit) compatibility. Optional magnetic stripe, contactless, and smart card technologies are also available for access control, time and attendance tracking, debit transacting, and more. The Rio Pro includes a three-year UltraCoverPlus warranty and support that includes full printhead coverage and free loaner service.
