International jazz artist Eric Darius, who has scored a #1 hit on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Charts and several top 10 hits, can’t wait to return to one of the biggest jazz festivals in the world!

"I'm really thrilled about performing at the Jakarta Java Jazz Festival again,” Eric says. “There is a huge jazz movement among the youth going on in Indonesia, and I feel very blessed just to be a part of this exciting movement! More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the three-day event at JIEXpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, Indonesia from March 3 to March 5. More than 100 musicians will play on 17 stages, including Santana, George Benson, Corinne Bailey Ray and Fourplay.

Eric, who grew up in Tampa, began touring at the age of 11 and has shared the stage with some of the music world’s biggest stars including Prince, Wynton Marsalis, George Benson and Brian McKnight. The 28-year-old internationally-known saxophonist and composer has released five critically-acclaimed albums, including “Goin’ All Out,” whose hit song by the same title soared to the top of Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Chart.

About Eric Darius:
Jazz artist Eric Darius has released five critically-acclaimed albums: “On A Mission” (2010); “Goin’ All Out” (2008); “Just Getting Started” (2006); “Night On The Town” (2004); and “Cruisin’” (2000). He began touring at age 11 when he was chosen to be in Sonny LaRosa and America’s Youngest Jazz Band, which consisted of musicians ages 5 to 12.
