CenturyLink Inc. (NYSE: CTL) will acquire Savvis (Nasdaq: SVVS) in a cash and stock deal valued at approximately $2.5 billion. Shares of CenturyLink eased 18 cents to close at $40.14 while Savvis stock surged $3.27 to close at $39.29.
