In the movie, 50 plays the son of a slain NYPD officer who, with his two best friends, joins the police academy in the hopes of righting an egregious wrong. After graduating, he's taken under the wing of his father's former partner, Captain Vic Sarcone (De Niro) and becomes one of the rogue agents in an underground "Vice Crime Task Force." Further details about the film have yet to be disclosed, and though Amin's exact role is being kept under wraps, it is expected to be extremely pivotal.
