Fairview Microwave has introduced new QMA to Type N adapters expanding their QMA offerings.


Fairview Microwave announces the introduction of 2 new QMA to type N adapters, the SM5571 (QMA/jack-N/plug) and the SM5570 (QMA/jack-N/jack). Available from stock, these adapters expand the current Fairview Microwave offering of QMA to N and SMA adapters. The QMA connector is a quick disconnect version of the SMA connector, good to 6GHZ, allowing for quick mate/demates, & allows the connection to rotate after tightening. The distance between connectors can be reduced because no torque wrench is required for tightened; hence qma’s are suitable for dense packaging environments. . These connectors are popular in systems deployed for Cellular, Wifi, LTE, In-Building, and other telecommunication systems. The connector interface is in accordance with MIL-G-45208, the female contacts are BeCu, and contacts have a minimum of 30 microinches of Gold plating.
