Denhman Ogilvie Announces Partnership with Brainchild

Denhman Ogilvie, a leading Hong Kong advisory company announced a charitable partnership with Brainchild, a youth mentoring institution

Denhman Ogilvie, a leading Hong Kong advisory company announced today a charitable partnership with Brainchild, a youth mentoring institution that supports deserving high school students who are highly accomplished and decorated in the academic landscape but lack key resources to ensure the likelihood of college and career success. In addition to $65,000 in financial aid and assistance, the Company, through an extensive mentoring program, has pledged hands-on support throughout the academic year.

It is Brainchild’s aim to provide students who excel in academics from households with low income with the skills and resources to gain admission to competitive institutions of higher learning, thrive in college academically and personally, with upward growth, and embark on lucrative and successful careers after graduation. Selected students in the two-year program attend volunteer-led Saturday classes, which are designed to teach, among other things, academic planning, analytical thinking and technical writing skills, and preparation for tests and examinations.

Students who have been selected into the program have benefited greatly, with the likelihood of getting into a four-year college or university increasing exponentially. The funds, which Denhman Ogilvie provides, will go a long way in augmenting the financial stipends granted to graduates of the program to help in deferring the costs of tertiary education, books, and miscellaneous expenses.

“Denhman Ogilvie charity work harps on assisting local organizations with little funding that do exemplary work for marginalized communities that provide support, aid and assistance to those who lean on them on a constant basis,” said Joanne Sheung, founding managing director of Denhman Ogilvie.
“Brainchild has made a profound effect on the lives of every student who has embarked on their program, and it is with a high sense of honor and privilege that we assist them in their endeavor through our support and mentoring.
We welcome the assistance of Denhman Ogilvie in our aim to establish a brighter future for the students who are selected to join our program,” said Marianne Shuster, Brainchild’s Chairperson. “Their mentoring and financial assistance will go a long way in ensuring that every deserving student gets a fair shake in life, which starts in school.”
