Chery Provided Egyptian Police With 400 Units Of Tiggo SUVs

Chery Automobile Co. has won the tender of the Ministry of Commerce of China for the supply of cars to Egypt for the Egyptian police. 400 Chery Tiggo SUVs are already delivered to the Egyptian government.


Chery Tiggo has a mechanical five speed manual transmission and petrol engine of 1.9 liters. The closest competitors of this model are KIA Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. The design of SUV was developed with a U-shaped grille, muscular lines and three-dimensional headlamps.

The decisive factors in choosing the Tiggo for Egyptian police was the developed Chery customer service network in Egypt and a good car shock absorption, which will provide comfort on bumpy roads.
The car’s body is made of high strength steel with the zones of programmable hardness and reinforced roof panel. These features minimize deformation in collisions and rollovers.

It should be noted that since 2007 Chery took fifth place in the Egyptian passenger vehicle market with outstanding annual sales of 12,000 units. Last year sales of Chery in Egypt achieved a record of 18,000 cars and jumped to the fourth place in the country, accounting for 7.4% of the Egyptian car market.
