By: PRLog
PR Log - Feb 16, 2012 - Brooklyn, New York - New Day Music GroupĀ® is pleased to announce CEO and President Tyrik "Keyz" Washington is kicking off this year grabbing a  Emmy nomination from this year 55th Annual New York Emmy Awards. He's receiving this nomination for his musical arrangement "The African Artifacts" that aired on channel 75.  Keyz's  ability to play over 12 different instruments, were utilized to the max in this arrangement. Using a variety of African drums, like the congas, bongos, and various djembe drums as the foundation of the music, infused with synth keyboards and a string orchestration, brought a  distinguish style and uniqueness to the segment. When asked by a reporter he's reaction to the nomination, he took the time to plug in his new up coming film "The Class Reunion" he produced, wrote, and directed.

"I'm extremely humble and grateful to be nominated by the Emmys. Along with the trailer release of my new film The Class Reunion, starring Dory Manzour, Dan Dorbansky, Sandy Addona, John Hartzell, and Sandra Palmeri which you can see at http://www.TheClassReunionFilm.com. 2012 has kicked off with a bang for me and my company".

This will be the fourth nomination, for the Brooklyn raised Juilliard graduate. We, over here at New Day Music Group are so pleased and honored to call him our own.
