Xelleon PLC - Simpozia Lands New $7.1M Licensing Agreement

Xelleon PLC announced today that it has entered into a licensing agreement for it's anti piracy technology with Cross Legion Music, to protect and promote concert streams from artists like Incubus, Bryan Adams, Van Halen, Eddy Vedder and more.

The immediate revenues being obtained from the venture shows Xelleon in a profitable position within 6 months.

Through Xelleons recent partnership with Global Strategic Consulting Corss Legion Music was enabled to evaluate and experience the secure nature of Xelleons impervio technology, through the Simpozia platform. Which sparked talks and negotiations over the last several months about partnerships and licensing for the technology.

Tyy Martin spokesperson for Cross Legion Music Promotion said. “Our company sees a great opportunity in protecting the media we sell, we understand the loss due to piracy through stream jumping can be calculated in the millions of dollars per month. We are 100% confident that Xelleon's impervio technology will help us recapture most, if not all of the revenues we would be losing due to piracy, and we look forward to a long future together.”

The 10 year agreement was struck Sunday night and licenses the use and further promotion of the Simpozia technology to the Legion team for a $20,000 USD per month licensing fee plus 50% gross of monthly sales through the Simpozia Store on all Cross Legion / Simpozia concert events, live and streaming ticket sales and video recordings.

“This is absolutely Awesome!” Dale Scott Marion, President Of Xelleon PLC Exclaimed, “As a musician knowing first hand the effects of piracy on audio files, video and streams, my passion toward this project is extremely heartfelt. I gave up my career in music a long time ago to pursue the goal of finding the most viable solution to piracy that spoke not only to the 12 technical issues that anti piracy solutions need to address but also the 4 social issues all of which our technology addresses. From allowing the user to store the actual file, to allowing them to legally gift and share their purchased media, play it through virtually any device, and with companies like General Motors leading the way in Android based car audio with internet, we guarantee you'll be seeing our software in automobiles all over the world.”

Simpozia, the platform in question, has been undergoing constant improvements, upgrades and signing new labels weekly to ingest more content for its 3100+ fans, users and followers. Their network of promotional outlets has grown to over 700 million subscribers looking for music and music products world wide. Simpozia is planning the launch of it's mobile video channels through Peirshore wireless this month to kick off the concerts and new artists being signed to the Simpozia Store.

“This deal has opened the doors for us to numerous other concert providers, the quality of the service is at the highest level offering users the ability to view concert experiences that are professionally produced in real time from every event.” said Marion, “But it's not only the experience we provide it's the outlet for global promotion and sales we offer through our mobile network partnership and press services, which allows us to provide a win win situation all around for the vanue, the promoter, the artist and the fans.”
