Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F): Last week, Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) announced that its pre-tax operating profit will be reduced in the second quarter, partly due to tripled overseas losses from the first quarter of 2012. Still, the company will be profitable and have positive operating cash flow in the first quarter ended on June 30, 2012. Although pre-tax losses in Europe, South America and Asia could be US$570 million, Ford anticipates strong results from its North American operations. In the past 52 weeks, Ford share prices have been bracketed by a low of US$9.05 and a high of US$14.22, and are now at US$9.39 (3.7% above that low price). The stock was traded above average volume with 63.30 million shares traded, 17.18 million shares more than its daily average. Sprint Nextel raised US$0.14 per share (equivalent to 4.29%), where stock prices went up to US$3.40. The company has a market capitalization of US$10.20 billion with price range within US$2.10 - US$5.74 over the past 52 weeks.
