“Avnet Express makes it easy for design engineers to access the latest technology from leading suppliers in our industry,” said Beth Ely, senior vice president, Avnet Express. “Avnet’s robust online inventory continues to grow, showing our commitment to stock the newest products available. These products from Analog Devices, Freescale and TE are just a few of the thousands of new products that Avnet stocks every day.”

Recommended for new designs, the Analog Devices AD5684RnanoDAC+TM is a quad, 12-bit, rail-to-rail, voltage output DAC. With high relative accuracy, low drift on-chip reference and a tiny package (3mm x 3mm), this device is built for end applications such as optical transceivers, base-station power amplifiers, industrial automation or data acquisition systems. Operating from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, the AD5684R is guaranteed monotonic by design and exhibits less than 0.1 percent FSR gain error and 1.5mV offset error performance. The entire nanoDAC product family is available from Avnet.

With more than 50 interchangeable modules available in the Freescale Tower System, design engineers can create their own customized development platform based on their design needs. Now in stock from Avnet Express, the Freescale Power Architecture Tower System modules are designed to deliver the richest feature sets yet offered in a Tower System form factor, with performance ranging from 130 to 2558 DMIPS. A shared MQX™ real-time operating system (RTOS) and CodeWarrior integrated development environment (IDE) allow the Tower System platforms to easily facilitate those customer applications that need to migrate from MCUs to the more powerful power architecture microprocessors (MPUs), with a rich variety of performance and connectivity options.

TE recently released its new KOAXXA RF interconnects. This modular platform helps reduce material and labor dependency while helping to provide mass customization and flexibility with the new KOAXXA SMA products. Each assembly kit within the KOAXXA SMA product family is fully compatible with IEC-169-15 standards and is designed for fully automated assembly. In stock and ready to ship is TE’s SMA KOAXXA board mount jack, part number 2081233-1. To view all of TE’s products available from Avnet, visit www.avnetexpress.com.

Avnet Express gives design engineers and purchasing professionals online access to the world’s largest catalog of electronic component products. Avnet Express offers parametric searching capabilities and the ability to upload a bill of materials (BOM) for easier sourcing of products and a consistent global platform of localized content. The site can be accessed in nine languages and 13 currencies.
