PortaPocket offers a new way to effectively manage restrictive circumstances now in place at NFL stadiums given the new ALL CLEAR bag ban policy. It's a simple, comfortable & versatile solution to safely carry one's small valuables & essential items
PRLog - Aug 08, 2013 - PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill. -- With 2013 signalling a brand new day at NFL stadiums...including adoption of a new “All Clear” policy banning all typical size purses and bags from NFL venues, there has been a backlash from female fans who find the advent of these restrictions difficult to take.  PortaPocket, by Undercover Solutions, LLC, is a useful carrying case system that can help people adapt to this new reality, and provide choices and flexibility to users in how it is worn.  The multi-functional capabilities of PortaPocket that allow it to be worn on thigh, calf, ankle, arm or waist (and under or over the clothing) make it a practical solution enabling fans to enjoy the games while conforming to the new rules, and minimizing risk for theft, loss, and inconvenience.

The new “All Clear” policy has been instigated by the NFL, in part, as a result of the tragedy of the Boston Marathon bombings and as a way to further benefit fans' safety. It specifically bans a host of previously allowable items including backpacks, fanny packs, camera cases, purses over the size of a small clutch (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”), seat cushions, and luggage of any kind... among other things. One IS allowed to carry in a clear bag no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” to fit one's personal items along with a small clutch purse/bag (http://www.nfl.com/qs/allclear/index.jsp).

Despite the fact that the policy still allows people to carry what's in their pockets and one's personal items in a small clutch, as well as in the allowable-sized clear bag, the  “All Clear” policy has clearly sparked some outrage.  Many women on social media have been writing about their dissatisfaction of the prospect of displaying their tampons and other private items for all to see.  Jen Verrillo (@broadsside) wrote a post titled “nfl 'no-purse' rule. I'm here to help!” (http://thebroadsside.com/2013/06/26/491/ ; www.TheBroadsSide.com ) a tongue in cheek piece voicing her displeasure with the subject that has garnered over 70K views, 10K shares on facebook and twitter, sparked hundreds of comments and recent interviews with Huffington Post (Huff Post Live), the national show “the List” and newschannel5 Cleveland.  And she is not alone. A multitude of twitter tweets and comments reflect the sentiments, including @KpinGB who tweeted: "the whole deal with the NFL's purse/cushion rules is stupid. What about the women/teen girls too embarrassed to show off their pads/tampons?" (6/21/13) and  @LadyStargate1  who offered " Crazy world!! What next? Don't think the #transparent purse will go over very well w/the ladies! #justsayin #NFL :(  " (6/20/13)

Kendra Kroll, creator of PortaPocket and Founder of Undercover Solutions, LLC supports the NFL decision to implement the policy, both for the security benefits as well as that it is sparking an alternative thought and discussion regarding how people can safely carry their valuables and not have to be relegated to babysitting a bag. She shares, “People often seek us out to provide relief after having lived through an unfortunate life experience...we've received calls from people who have been victims of purse snatchers and pickpockets, folks who have been held up at gunpoint...from others who've ruined their phones from sweat or had broken them from dropping them in the toilet....and from people who are just tired of worrying about where their important things are while they're simply going about their day to day business.  This new policy almost forces people to be more PROactive than REactive so I think it can't help but be a good thing in the long run...”

Using PortaPocket is a simple solution to keep one's private things private. One can safely, comfortably and discreetly tote valuables and essential items around, hands-free.  No purses or bags to micromanage or have to watch over like a hawk. These solutions can be used solo, or even WITH a larger bag to keep one's more important items CLOSER. The lightweight system is versatile to be worn on many different parts of the body, and consists of an adjustable neoprene band/strap along with a selection of detachable, interchangeable pockets. To use, simply wrap the band around the area of choice, insert your items, and off you go.  It's simple to wear underneath a skirt or dress while worn around a thigh, underneath a longer dress, capris or yoga pants while worn just above a calf, and under slacks, pants or jeans while wrapped around an ankle. It also can be used on the arm or at the waist, as desired. The PortaPocket belt-loop style pockets will also work on one's own belt, too.  The streamlined components are simple to conceal under the clothing without added bulk, and are soft and comfortable for extended wear.

Pocket sizes fit small valuables like ID, cash, credit and debit cards, keys, cell phones (including iPhone, BlackBerry & Droid; XL pocket for Galaxy 4 phones coming soon), iPods, small cameras, passports, and more. They're also helpful to keep such essentials like lipstick, tampons, inhalers, insulin pumps, and EpiPens as well as other medical devices. Demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOitSb1elqE
