PRLog - Jan. 21, 2014 - CORBIN, Ky. -- Kentucky author Marlene Fuson released a new book entitled: “What I Can't Really Means”. This book was originally intended as a guide for adolescents, but is great for anyone, teen to adult, who finds it difficult to face challenges in their own life. “What I Can't Really Means” is meant to be an uplifting work to inspire people to not settle for second best and to always strive for excellence no matter what the task is at hand.  The author's son is the main inspiration for this work due primarily to expressing his distaste for his station in life by being negative, naive, and unaware of the many blessings he has been bestowed. This caused the author to grow weary of her son’s constant complaining, this led to teaching of a lesson in his life, which bore not only fruit for him but for this book as well. “What I Can't Really Means” is sure to challenge even the youngest minds to aspire for greatness and never to accept the words “I can't”!

Book Description:

What I Can’t Really Means” was inspired by the author’s eldest son in the hopes to help other pre-teen, teenage, young adult, and the young at heart to realize that they can truly accomplish anything if they only say “I can” instead of “I can’t”. An attitude can change many things in life, and this book can guide readers through the attitude adjustments that is needed in the lives of many. “What I Can’t Really Means” covers the common “wrong thinking” problems that plague the minds of many young people today, and incorporates the steps to correct and change this “thinking” into what it should be. Readers will find if they add these simple corrections to their lives, they will live life with a better attitude, be happier with the lives they are living, and achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Here is what Marlene had to say about her inspiration for her book:

“I decided to write this book because of my oldest son and something he said to me. I am constantly trying to explain to all of my children how important decisions, attitudes, and actions are in life.  When he looked at me and said ‘I can’t’, I was completely flabbergasted. So I decided since my son is constantly hearing how important having positive attitude is in life and is still deciding to turn away from that thinking, it has to be because he does not fully understand that choice.”
