GameStop Offers New Deals on Hottest Consumer Electronics

GameStop announced today major price discounts on some of the hottest consumer electronics available in the market. Starting on March 3 customers can receive $80 off a new 2013 Amazon Kindle Fire HD or Kindle Fire HDX, save $50 off a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, or purchase from a wide range of pre-owned Apple products at the most competitive prices. These are just a few of the latest deals customers can receive at GameStop on new or pre-owned consumer electronics.

“GameStop is continually expanding its selection of new and pre-owned consumer electronics,” said Bob Puzon, senior vice president of merchandising for GameStop. “With our buy-sell-trade model, the newest, most desirable video games, tablets and smartphones are available at affordable prices.”

According to a report conducted by the Consumer Electronics Association**, nearly 3 out of 4 (70 percent) of online consumers expect to purchase a tablet sometime in the future. To help make it affordable for these consumers to purchase a new tablet, or other consumer electronic gadget, GameStop has a wide selection of devices to choose from at some of the best prices available in stores and online.

*When customers trade-in two eligible Sony PlayStation® 4 or Microsoft Xbox® One video games toward the purchase of a new Amazon Kindle Fire HD or Kindle Fire HDX tablet, they will receive $80 off the retail price of either tablet, which is $139.99 or $229.99 respectively. This offer is available March 3 through March 23 at all U.S. GameStop stores.

Other price specials are offered on fan favorite Apple and Samsung products. The new discounts are for both new and pre-owned products, including:

  • $20 off a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.
  • Pre-owned Apple iPhone 4 starting at $189.99 or an Apple iPad 2 starting at $259.99.
  • A 30% bump in trade currency for any consumer electronic device traded-in toward the purchase of any other pre-owned product.
