Until now, capturing and isolating these moments on video has required slow and tedious editing.
With Vuact Action Capture, you can record sensor data in tandem with video, and visualize your data on the timeline of the video. That way, you can immediately find the best moments based on the data that has been recorded.
Vuact is now crowdfunding the launch and creation of Action Capture on Kickstarter. The campaign runs for 29 days with a goal of $40,000.
"This is a new way of recording and consuming data and video together," says Mikko Jarvenpaa, founder of Vuact. "There's a clear need for this for anyone who records longer videos of sports performance like bicycling of skiing, and who wants to understand their performance and their data."
Vuact Action Capture can even help the user automatically find and share the best moments from their videos. "After we know where the peaks or major changes in sensor data are, we can create an automatic compilation of the user's highlights," Jarvenpaa says.
