Girl Scouts of Western Washington and PetHub Team-Up to get ID Tags onto Dogs
PRLog - Apr. 8, 2014 - SEATTLE -- PetHub.com, the world's fastest way to get lost pets home, and Girl Scouts of Western Washington have joined forces to get ID tags onto dogs and cats. A percentage of each sale on PetHub.com will benefit Girl Scouts of Western Washington during the month of April.

"Girl Scouts have always been incredibly focused on helping those in their communities," said Megan Ferland, CEO of Girl Scouts of Western Washington. "Girls actively support animal shelters and have often provided food and other supplies to various animal-focused charities, so PetHub.com is a natural extension of our girls' efforts."

PetHub worked with Girl Scouts of Western Washington to create a limited edition ID tag that combines the Girl Scout logo with the face of a happy dog. A portion of the proceeds from all sales on PetHub.com during the month of April -- including the new Girl Scout limited edition tags -- will benefit the many valuable Girl Scout programs offered in western Washington. The limited edition "Girl Scout Pup" PetHub ID tags will also be on sale in Girl Scouts of Western Washington stores, in DuPont and Bellevue.

"I'm so excited to come up with a fun way to help the Girl Scouts while furthering our goal of keeping animals safe," said Lorien Clemens, Director of Marketing. "It's a 'win-win-win' opportunity to benefit an incredible organization, empower young women to make a difference in their community, and get lost animals home fast to keep families together."
