Qvidian Customers Celebrate Success at CONNECT 2014 Event

Qvidian, the innovator in sales execution solutions, last week hosted hundreds of sales, marketing, operations and content leaders at the fifth annual CONNECT conference, the premier event for sales and operations professionals. Executives from more than 25 sectors including financial services, software and insurance met in Orlando, FL to participate in industry-specific sessions, hands-on training and thought-leader discussions focused on delivering greater value and improving sales execution.

At this year’s conference, more than half of respondents to the CONNECT survey described their organization as having a formal sales enablement function. Two thirds of those respondents, however, said that they are challenged by lack of resources to implement it. Qvidian’s innovative solutions help customers overcome sales execution challenges by expediting ramp-up for salespeople and by identifying how to use limited resources more effectively.

To overcome these obstacles, this year’s event featured several keynote presentations including sales strategist, speaker, author and 2013 Top Sales & Marketing Thought Leader Jill Konrath. Ms. Konrath’s discussion focused on processes organizations can adopt to accelerate learning, quick thinking and change mindsets to shorten the path to proficiency and be more agile, and adjust faster to evolving business conditions.

“Critical to the success of today’s sales force is an agile mindset for offering customers ideas, insight and information that address their most challenging problems in an ever-evolving marketplace,” said Konrath. “Agile learning is a meta-skill that can be applied in virtually every job or project. This approach complements sales enablement functionality by teaching salespeople to prioritize customer or prospect information in a pre-determined sequence. An agile mindset improves salesperson interaction with customers or prospective clients by helping them adapt to specific selling situations and, ultimately, reach their quota.”

“We are thrilled by the response to this year’s line-up of sales and marketing professionals that shared real-world strategies for addressing sales execution challenges,” said Lewis “Lewie” Miller, CEO of Qvidian. “Qvidian identified that the single most important focus area for sales leaders this year is increasing win rates. This begins when sales and marketing teams act as expert partners for customers that are looking to validate business problems and identify the right solutions to solve them. The expert tips shared at CONNECT, along with Qvidian’s proven sales execution solutions, help organizations achieve growth by increasing sales ramp up time and making the entire sales process more efficient.”

In addition to Jill’s presentation, CONNECT featured two full days of more than 40 sessions led by sales and marketing innovators, such as Heinz Marketing on the importance of leveraging customer profiles, and Ellison Technologies discussing how to create a true coaching culture. In addition, seventy percent of attendees stayed the following day for Dr. Tom Sant’s post-conference workshop on Building Greater Value Propositions.
