Contemporary Family Dental Care, a Grand Rapids dentistry office, gets a new and improved space!

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, April 19, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The weather isn't the only thing that changes with a new season. Contemporary Family Dental Care has been under a slight construction and just recently revealed their new office!

"We're a growing practice, so we needed a little extra leg room. And there were other dental essentials we added to the new space. Our practice is fully equipped to handle any dental need that comes our way," says Dr. Dykstra, Grand Rapids dentist at Contemporary Family Dental Care.

General dental office areas include a waiting room, reception area, checkout, restrooms and so forth. However, Dr. Dykstra redesigned other key areas, such as the sterilization space, consultation room and Panorex X-ray room.

Some patients might feel nervous in the dentist office; thus, sitting in the dental chair during a consultation might be a little overwhelming. That's why there is a separate consultation room. Dr. Dykstra or an associate can walk patients through their treatment plans without any noise or distractions coming from other areas of the office.

Also, to stay out of the way of the hallway hustle and bustle, the new office made a private area for the new Panorex. What is a Panorex? It's a panoramic radiograph that scans the upper and lower jaw. A dental panoramic radiograph helps provide information on impacted wisdom teeth, periodontal bone loss, dental implant placement and a dental infection.

About Dr. Bradley Dykstra:
Dr. Bradley Dykstra received his Bachelor of Science degree from Calvin College. From that point on, Dr. Dykstra pursued his dental degree at the University of Michigan's Dental School. He then moved to Hudsonville and opened his own dental practice. Dr. Dykstra has been operating it since 1978. Recently, Dr. Dykstra completed his MBA from the Grand Valley State University. Because of his complete dedication to his patients, Dr. Dykstra completes over a hundred hours of continuing education courses each year, and he stays "in the loop" regarding the latest technology, techniques and materials in dentistry.
