Hollywood heartthrob and star of the new hit series on ‘Ray Donovan’ to support youth character building program
PRLog - Jun. 30, 2014 - MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- (Memphis, TN)Hollywood triple and heartthrob Pooch Hall will host the 1st Annual Champions of Character Excellence™ event in Holly Springs, MS on Saturday, July 26th. Founded by Shay Brown, President of Royal Kingdom PR Agency, Inc. in January 2014, Champions of Character Excellence ™ (CCE) is a series of events and award based programs designed to influence youth and future generations based on a platform that focus on character, integrity, and leadership at the core of successful skills to possess in the real world. Amongst the weekends busy activities is a fundraising basketball tournament supported by local and national brands, corporations, and community leaders that will be hosted by the veteran actor.

“I’m ready to bring the fun. You know I told Shay (Brown) I’d rather be playing, so I don’t know, you might see me doing a little bit of both; I’m versatile like that laughs, Hall. I just want everyone to have a good time and it’s about the kids and teaching them character and integrity at a young age. It starts with kids this age. So, I’m glad to be a part of this event.” The Friday night leading up to the basketball tournament is an awards cocktail dinner celebrating the winners of the essay contest who will have an opportunity to win savings bonds and an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C.

“I’m excited to have Pooch (Hall) join us. As I was creating a wish list for those well-known names that exemplified character both in their personal and professional lives, I immediately thought of Pooch and contacted one of his booking representatives. He previously attended a clients boxing fundraiser event and he was definitely enjoyable to be around. The crowd is going to love him,” cited Shay Brown founder of Champions of Character Excellence.  The event will take place at Holly Springs High School in Holly Springs, Mississippi from 12pm-6pm central standard time. Pre-sale tickets are $10 for those under the age of 17 with valid student I.D., $20 for adults, and $30 for V.I.P. A small number of tickets will be available at the door; prices will be announced at a later date.
