Max Mize, 15U left handed pitcher for the South Texas Sliders earned a spot on the Perfect Game All Tournament Team from the 2014 15u WWBA National Championship held June 20-27 in Atlanta, Ga.

Max Mize, the Seven Lakes High School sophomore from Katy, TX, pitched 10.2 innings, compiling a 0.00 ERA while striking out nine batters and only allowing five hits at the Perfect Game World Wood Bat 15U National Championships in Atlanta, Ga.

Mize first took the mound for the South Texas Sliders on Friday, June 20 against the Winston Knights where he pitched four shut out innings, giving up just three hits with two strikeouts and no walks. The June 24 game against Midland Tribe saw Mize striking out six batters and allowing only two hits during his six innings on the hill.

His performance at the Perfect Game World Wood Bat 15U National Championships earned Mize a selection on the All-Tournament Team Honors.

Mize will be back on the rubber with his High School team, the Seven Lakes Spartans for the 2015 season.
