One of our primary missions is presenting new and innovative technologies to our viewers. Enermotion’s HYPER technology is certainly one that we can all appreciate as transformative in its field.Exploring the world’s first mobile refrigeration and heating unit powered by Waste Exhaust Heat

BOCA RATON FL, July 17, 2014 — In the effort to adhere to anti-idling legislation and reduce fuel consumption while a heavy truck is at rest, but still requiring heating and cooling for the driver, the transportation industry has adopted auxiliary power units fueled primarily by diesel. While these units reduce fuel consumption, they still consume fuel and produce emissions. Battery powered APU’s have been gaining traction in the market as an alternative but they require battery replacement often and they still incorporate air conditioning components and fuel fired heaters, which too require significant maintenance. The diesel APU’s produce emissions and consume fuel, the battery units are short lived and the high maintenance costs of either type has resulted in a very challenging environment for transportation markets. EnerMotion has developed the Hybrid Power & Energy Recovery (HYPER) technology to overcome all these challenges and provide a truly disruptive market option. This unique technology will be featured on 21st Century Television, airing on Bloomberg Worldwide (as pd. prog) on July 20, 2014. Check your local listings for airtimes.

“The HYPER product will offer the shortest payback in the transportation industry for large and small fleets while significantly reducing fuel consumption, lowering emissions, eliminating high maintenance costs, all while improving the in-service life the vehicle,” says Jack MacDonnell. “EnerMotion’s collaboration with 21st Century Television is critical in bringing awareness to this new innovative and disruptive technology for North America and around the globe – clean air and hybrid energy systems are our future.”

During the interview, MacDonnell explains, “This technology was developed to turn wasted heat energy into a source of heating and cooling, eliminating the three problems of the use of traditional idling with a diesel-powered auxiliary on heavy trucks. Our one device saves on fuel consumption, eliminates damaging emissions, and saves on maintenance.”
