Second quarter earnings dropped for Crocs Inc. (Nasdaq: CROX) to 19 cents per shares from 40 cents per share a year earlier but the results were better than expected and the company announced strategic plans to improve and grow its business. Shares of the footwear maker climbed $1.84 to close at $16.68.
