Los Angeles, CA, USA (July 28, 2014) — South Korean music group, B1A4, under WM Entertainment, released their new music video for their title song “Solo Day” from their fifth mini-album under the same name on July 14, 2014. It has received over a million views and has garnered praise from U.S. Billboard as “this year’s most delightful K-Pop music video.”
The group wanted a definitive Hollywood look for their new music video and sought out some of Southern California’s most picturesque beach and desert locations. Along with Korean director Sungkyun Yoo, they teamed up with Los Angeles based production house SlickforceStudio, known for producing some of the most iconic images of celebrities including family portraits of the Kardashian-Jenner family and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The music video has received much praise, with fans calling it B1A4′s best music video to date, and some going as far as saying its the best music video of 2014. They took home first place trophies on MBC Music’s ‘Show Champion’ on July 23rd, Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown’ on the 24th and first place on MBC’s ‘Music Bank’ on the 25th. They are continuing to dominate with their digital album sales.
WM Entertainment announced their first global world tour, ‘Road Trip,’ with their first concert to take place in Taiwan and Shanghai in August and to Manila in September.
