Splunk Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLK) widened losses for the second quarter to 51 cents per share from 13 cents per share last year but revenue soared to beat analyst expectations and the company forecast current quarter and full year revenue ahead of expectations. The stock price leaped $8.27 to $53.56.
