Arctic Cat Unveils 2015 ATV and ROV Products

Arctic Cat Inc. (NASDAQ:ACAT) unveiled 15 new 2015 models of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) at its annual ATV/ROV dealer meeting: the all-new XR ATV line; Wildcat™ Sport side-by-sides; and a thorough redesign of the Prowler® XT side-by-side line.

Commented Christopher Twomey, Arctic Cat’s chairman and chief executive officer: “This is the strongest new product launch for the ATV and ROV markets in our company’s history. We are pleased to offer our dealers and consumers an expanding range of exciting options for recreational, sport and utility use. It reflects our focus on maintaining a robust new product pipeline and bringing innovative, quality products to market.”

Arctic Cat’s technology innovations on these new products and enhanced designs include 25 percent greater fuel efficiency on the majority of its models; improved ergonomics; easier storage solutions and automotive-inspired styling. In addition, the company expanded its line of parts, garments and accessories, to provide a broader array of options for machine customization and performance.

ATV Products
Arctic Cat’s eight ATV products for the 2015 model year include seven all-new XR models designed for the sport utility ATV market segment. The XR product line features mid-sized engines ranging from 550cc to 700cc; new chassis, bodywork and SpeedRack II accessories system; and a higher level of riding comfort – due to easier steering, revised suspension geometry and a more comfortable rider position. Other new features for 2015 include an engine sound reduction system, a new LED/Halogen lighting system and three trim packages to appeal to varied customer needs.

A new TRV® 1000 XT EPS joins the touring category, with more powerful engine performance. The TRV’s 2-up seating allows for two people to ride the vehicle, one seated behind the other.

ROV Products
Arctic Cat unveiled a total of seven 2015 models in the side-by-side ROV segment.

Three new Prowler XT models define Arctic Cat’s 2015 recreation category of side-by-side machines, sporting automotive-inspired bodywork and occupant-focused comfort. The newest Prowler ROVs set new standards for quality, storage and ease of use.

Arctic Cat also is expanding its high-performance line, introducing three Wildcat Sport models on a new 60-inch wide chassis. The new chassis’ width offers consumers a mid-sized option between the original Wildcat and the recently introduced Wildcat Trail model, which has a narrower 50-inch stance. In addition, Arctic Cat debuted an upscale version of the Wildcat Trail, the Wildcat Trail Limited EPS, which has a 50-inch wide chassis, electronic power steering and painted bodywork. Arctic Cat’s Wildcat line provides a wide range of vehicle sizes, trim levels, shock packages and performance.

To accompany these new all-new models and enhancements, Arctic Cat enters the 2015 season with its largest and most comprehensive accessory program to satisfy consumers’ desires for machine customization, performance and utility.
