To Accommodate Rising Demand for Online Training, Heat Pipe Technology Opens YouTube Channel

Heat Pipe Technology (HPT) a division of MiTek® Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway company (NYSE: BRK-A, NYSE: BRK-B), today announced that it has opened a YouTube channel to offer online training for use of its new SelectPlus heat pipe design software. HPT’s SelectPlus software, a free download, has been a runaway success, and this new online video training will accelerate its use and acceptance in the marketplace. Training modules include two four-part video training vignettes. One set of video vignettes is focused on HPT SelectPlus™ HRM Selection Tutorials, and the other set is focused on HPT SelectPlus™ DHP Selection Tutorials. An additional video teaches HPT SelectPlus™ users how to add users to a project.

SelectPlus is a cloud-based solution that assists with heat pipe design, including the ability to create engineering drawings and output required document submittals. Whether the SelectPlus user is an HPT Representative, a Design Engineer, or an OEM, SelectPlus allows them to access workflow processes that are central to their roles in the design, specification, and installation of HPT solutions. These capabilities include the selection of Dehumidification Heat Pipes (DHPs), Energy Recovery Heat Pipes (HRMs), and the ability to calculate the Recovery Efficiency Ratio (RER) to determine net savings.
