The Factory, a high-end fashionable store for men and women, will open its doors for business with a grand opening event on October 4th in historic Automobile Alley at 1100 N. Broadway Avenue, Suite 103.

Bringing metropolitan fashion and style to Oklahoma City is the vision of store owners Ashley Liddell and Megan Uber. “It’s about expressing yourself and mixing different ideas together. We love street wear mixed with high fashion. Ripped jeans and a vintage purse with an amazing pair of Louboutins. It’s inspired by the energy and attitude of people in cities like Manhattan, Los Angeles and Tokyo” says Ashley. Megan adds, “People are very fashionable here, but we don’t have access to so many of the cool up-and-coming designers. We end up going to Dallas or shopping online and taking dollars away from our local economy.”

Many items and lines are exclusive to the Factory in Oklahoma City including brands from Paris, Tokyo, New York and Australia. Right now Australia is huge for new designers in women’s wear, and Tokyo is inspiring some amazing men’s cuts” says Liddell. “We are passionate about styling and want our customers to feel the same excitement and energy we do, and to have a great experience every time they come though our doors.”

The two spent a lot of time exploring Oklahoma City considering locations for the store. When they found the space at 10th and Broadway they were immediately taken with the building’s architecture and light. Uber says, “This is a fast-growing part of the city. And we love the energy and excitement of Automobile Alley.”

The 2,800 square foot storefront was designed by Fitzsimmons Architecture. The space features a DJ booth, conveyor belts and clothing racks, by artist Paul Badgley, that raise to the ceiling at night to create space for exclusive parties and monthly events. Ashley shared, “For us, this is so much more than a store. We are building a brand.”
