For the 2015 model year, Kia reinforced its Forte by strengthening the compact sedan's A-pillars and lower side sills, and it appears those changes have led to a significant improvement in crash protection. After exceling in a variety of crash tests, the 2015 Kia Forte recently earned a 5-Star Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in its New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).
