King Mohammed VI Sets Up Committee to Reopen and Rehabilitate Closed Mosques

As part of the constant care granted by HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, to places of worship, the Sovereign gave instructions to ministers of the Interior, of Economy and Finance and of Habous and Islamic Affairs to set up a standing committee to examine the situation of closed mosques.



The setting up of this committee aims at taking necessary measures to schedule the reconstruction, restoration or rehabilitation of closed mosques and their reopening according to priorities and within reasonable time limits as well as the raising of the needed funds for this operation and its local planning.
