OnCore Manufacturing to Present at the 10th Annual Northeast L.E.A.N Conference

OnCore Manufacturing, LLC, a global supplier of electronic manufacturing services, will be presenting at the upcoming 10th Annual Northeast L.E.A.N conference in Springfield, MA on October 1 & 2, 2014.

Tony Batalha, Corporate VP Quality & Operational Excellence with OnCore Manufacturing, will present OnCore’s experiences in implementing Lean processes at their Springfield facility. Mr. Batalha will discuss how OnCore built a platform for implementing Lean, the various approaches and methods applied at the facilities, along with their results and impacts.

The process to adopt Lean practices for OnCore Manufacturing in Springfield, MA factory began back in 2007. Topics that will be highlighted during the conference will be the methods used to transition the manufacturing operations into a visual factory, and how the improvement of certain processes has continuously improved their workflow and factory floor layouts. OnCore has also successfully implemented a Shingo metric score card and policy deployment of continuous improvement flow down to track and deploy the ongoing improvement activity. The multiyear activity has instilled a culture of Lean at OnCore that has yielded favorable customer impact.
