ITT’s Turn-Act Brand Showcases Customized Motion Control Solutions at PACK EXPO 2014

ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) and its Enidine, Compact Automation and Turn-Act brands will showcase a complete portfolio of customized and reliable motion control solutions for the global automation marketplace at PACK EXPO International 2014 on Nov. 2-5. At this year’s show, ITT’s Turn-Act brand will feature its cylinder and actuator technologies designed for the packaging industry.

“Our key strength in the packaging industry is that our products are designed to eliminate backlash and loss of motion, ensuring smooth rotation and precise repeatability,” said Jeff Weisbeck, vice president of sales for ITT’s Control Technologies business. “ITT’s products are completely customizable and are intricately created to reduce total cost of ownership, improve reliability and increase longevity of the entire assembly.”

ITT Turn-Act’s rotary actuator products provide operators with multidirectional motion as opposed to the unidirectional motion in linear actuators. ITT’s rotary product offering contains more than 50 base models and almost unlimited custom capabilities, with torque outputs ranging from 9 in. lbs. to 5200 in. lbs. ITT’s Turn-Act brand offers rotary actuator lines such as TURN-DEX, Brute and Comp-Act.

In addition to its actuator products, ITT will also showcase its complete line of custom cylinders designed to provide unique solutions for a variety of industrial automation applications.

Representatives from ITT’s family of brands will be available for meetings at booth number 10010 during the PACK EXPO show.
