Short-term technical indicators are strong and the MACD on the daily chart recently produced a new buy signal. If the stock can break today’s high of 7.95, we should see a follow through move.

( click to enlarge )Rubicon Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:RBCN) last week may have been the bottom of a daily base. I think higher, but still in wait and see mode. The stock needs to break 4.64$ EMA20 resistance - above that level could get 5.55$ EMA50.
