SoFEA is a state of the art school in East Africa offering short term courses at the diploma and certificate level. SoFEA is currently based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. SOFEA is building on the already micro initiatives of the fashion industry in the region. The school will expand the fashion base by integrating a focus on fashion design, styling, merchandizing, pattern making and other related programs. Initially, these will be achieved through short courses of certificate/diploma programs and later on expand to baccalaureate programs.
Long are those days where fashion meant sewing and performing alteration on clothes. SOFEA is ready to make and transform fashion into a sort-after career. Majority of the clients of SOFEA are students from all backgrounds seeking to further their career in fashion. Currently, the school accommodates both, graduates and non-graduates as well as those seeking to make a career change and experiment in the Fashion industry.
