BFO & friends raise money for autism at first-annual "Beeftoberfest."
CHICAGO, IL, October 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On Friday, October 17th, Be Found Online brought the digital marketing community together in Lakeview, raising $3,100 for the Autism Society of Illinois at their first-annual charity event. Dubbed "Beeftoberfest," the charity bash gave guests the opportunity to vote for their favorite charity with tickets won by participating in games and challenges.
Be Found Online's President, Dan Golden, chimed in to clarify some confusion about the event's unique moniker: "The inaugural 2014 Beeftoberfest confirmed our theory that enjoying beverages, food, and merriment with our friends and partners is a good thing. It also taught us that most people don't quite understand the 'beef' in 'Beeftoberfest' since this event had everything to do with Oktoberfest and charity but nothing to do with cows! At Be Found Online, we like to call ourselves 'Beefers,' so the party name made complete sense to our team."
