To help fishing enthusiasts better distribute and receive information about particular catches including size, images, and GPS locations, Atlas Greyfox has developed a new smartphone app called “Fishing Spot.” “Fishing Spot” promises to be an immensely popular social network for fishermen around the world.
Atlas is a retiree and amateur fishing enthusiast who recognized the broad appeal that “Fishing Spot” would have amongst the enormous amateur fishing community. Working with the app development group AppXperts, Atlas has created an app that enables fishermen to see what types of fish are being caught in their local area or anywhere in the world. “Fishing Spot” is an easy to use application that allows users to quickly take a picture using their smartphone and upload it to the network, along with pertinent details and a caption. Using this app, amateur fishermen can also comment on the catches of others and even cultivate relationships.
Although the “Fishing Spot” app is likely to become a resounding commercial success, it is yet to be completed. In its final form, “Fishing Spot” will be available for both iOS and Android phones. In order to finish this app development project, Atlas has sponsored a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise $50,000.
