Highlands Oncology Group Physician Will Release New Abstracts at The 2015 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium.

Dr. J. Thaddeus Beck, M.D., F.A.C.P. of Highlands Oncology Group (HOG), will attend the 2015 Genitourinary Cancers Symposium, held in Orlando, Fla., where he will discuss new abstracts on cancer research and treatment. 

Dr. Beck coauthored an abstract on new treatment options for advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma, or kidney cancer, and will present his work at the symposium. 

About 63,920 new cases of kidney cancer will occur in the U.S. in 2014, according to the American Cancer Society. 

The Genitourinary Cancers Symposium is a specialized oncology event designed for the exchange of the latest strategies in prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of prostate, renal, testicular, and urothelial cancers, according to the Symposium’s website.
