“It’s incredibly important to pay attention to the condition of your tires,” says Auto Tech President Mike Miculinich. “Everything from tread depth to tire pressure plays a role in the effectiveness of your tires handling slick and snowy roads.”
Winter tires, Miculinich stated, drastically improve the overall performance of one’s vehicle, yet he stresses that in order to really be prepared for the winter, drivers should always pay close attention to their brakes, their windshield wipers and make sure their car battery is checked.
That’s why all four Auto Tech Centers in Crystal Lake, McHenry, Woodstock and Huntley are now offering free safety inspections to help drivers prepare themselves for what promises to be another winter wallop.
