Corporate Review and DynaEnergetics Discuss the Changing Oil Industry

By: Get News

December 3, 2014 – Boca Raton, Florida — The global economy and population demands continue to place a high demand for oil and gas, but traditional perforation systems find themselves facing challenges. The rise of shale oil and gas have brought challenges related to safety, cost reductions, and related issues. DynaEnergetics discusses these challenges and how their solutions address them. Tune in to Corporate Review airing on the Fox Business Network (as pd. prog) on December 6, 2014 at 4:30pm EST.  Check your Local Listings for airtimes.

DynaEnergetics works to overcome these challenges by developing systems that help companies improve safety and efficiency. As a world leader in the field of industrial explosives, they have developed a system that helps to enhance productivity while also allowing the customers considerably flexibility and ease. They also help conduct safety seminars and product demonstrations to help companies face the challenges in their industry.

According to the team at DynaEnergetics, A common misconception is that an oil field is like a huge lake of water where you simply need to pipe off as much as you want. Oil is actually stored in porous reservoir rock formations. After hydrocarbons have been found through seismic prospecting, an exploration well will be drilled. If the find seems commercially viable, a confirmation well will be drilled and the oil field goes on stream. However, to stabilize the borehole a casing (steel pipe) has to be inserted and cemented in place. And this is where perforation comes in place, as the casing has sealed off the formation from the well bore.

DynaEnergetics provides the necessary perforating products to safely and efficiently stabilize the well site.

Some of the benefits of perforation include:

• Better Operator control

• Reduced concern for reservoir fluids

• Precise selection and seal off of perforations that are no longer productive.

DynaEnergetics also helps companies meet personnel challenges by working to maintain safety standards while also developing easy-to-use products that enhance user capability and decrease the amount of training required to properly execute the job.

“The global economy continues to require a considerable amount of oil and the shifts towards shale oil and gas has only increased the challenges of the industry. Since the energy industry impacts us all, we were very interested in learning about how DynaEnergetics works to help companies meet these challenges. We were eager to get them on the show, “explains the Vice President of Programming for Corporate Review, JL Haber.
