In its first year back in production, the new mid-sized Colorado beat out larger competitors including the recently redesigned 2015 Ford F-150. An extended cab work truck sells for $23,300, a stark number when compared to heavy-duty models that retail for over $70,000. The 2015 Chevy Colorado has two available powertrains. A 2.5L four-cylinder engine displaces 200 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque while a more-powerful 3.6L V6 can release 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the pickup can tow 7000 pounds and fuel economy reaches as high as 27 mpg in the city. Extended and crew cab version are available, and cabin technologies include a MyLink infotainment system, smartphone integration, and a 4G LTE wireless internet hotspot.
