The new Mustang Shelby GT350's had its hood lifted, and Ford has revealed the new Voodoo V8 engine.
PRLog - Dec. 29, 2014 - BURNS HARBOR, Ind. -- There are few greater fans of the 2015 Mustang than the team here at Lake Shore Ford, and the Shelby GT350's new Voodoo V8 has had everyone excited for some time now. This 500-plus hp engine is set to impress all kinds of drivers, particularly those who love their high-power Mustangs.

Unveiled at last month's LA Auto Show, this new Mustang Shelby GT350 was the answer to many drivers' concerns about Ford's muscle car having grown a bit soft around the edges. A splitter built into the front bumper, huge wheels, a grille-mounted Shelby badge, box flares, and racing stripes mark this Mustang as something truly special.

While the full specs of the new Shelby haven't been officially disclosed, Ford has unveiled a video that details the new engine from its cold air intake on prominent display to a handful of other tech details that gearheads and Mustang fans will no-doubt enjoy.

Drivers won't have to wait long to learn more about the Mustang Shelby GT350, but Ford has yet to officially say when they'll releasing the details. Though those stats have yet to be released, Ford will be auctioning off the first build of the GT350 to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. It's not likely to come anywhere near list price, though; the first 2015 Mustang sold for the same charity for over $300,000 at auction.

The standard Mustang may very well be enough for the average driver, though, especially considering that it has a high-power V8 engine as well as a brand new EcoBoost 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Available with six different trim levels and an eventual convertible body style, there is sure to be a Mustang for nearly every driver.

Readers looking to learn more about the Mustang Shelby GT350's Voodoo V8 engine or wanting to test drive the 2015 Mustang can contact the sales team at Lake Shore Ford in Burns Harbor. They have proudly served Ford drivers from all over Indiana, including Portage, Valparaiso, and Chesterton, and have one of the best selections of used vehicles in the state.
