McDonald’s advice from franchisees includes: Eliminate the espresso drinks from the McCafe — or get rid of McCafe entirely. Trim the Happy Meal choices. Ax the wraps. Remove the postage-stamp-size fries. Get rid of the bottom 10% of menu underperformers.
