She is stuck in a highly abusive family situation and just lost her job. Her car needs repairs, not to mention her psyche and well-being. She feels damaged, trapped and depressed – and is desperately seeking a way out.
Smith, who hails from Los Angeles, recently launched a website (www.helpsavekylie.weebly.com) to help her raise money so she can leave home and get a new start. A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated.
“I need to leave here and move somewhere ASAP so that my family doesn’t know where I am and so I can protect myself and keep myself safe,” she says. “I can’t handle this abuse anymore. It’s not safe for me to live here. This abuse has happened for many years and has taken a negative toll on me and my well-being and health.”
“Right now, I have a huge lack of self-worth, self-confidence, self-esteem and self-image. Some people might not think this really matters but these things can make it almost impossible to get and keep a job as well as make and keep friends.”

Smith has notified the police but to no avail since she is no longer a minor. “They just tell me to move,” she says. “I can’t afford to move right now due to some financial hardships. This is where I really need some help.”
At one point, Smith was working 80 hours a week to get enough money to move but she just lost her job, and she’s struggling to find new employment.
Smith is trying to raise enough money to move across country, undergo counseling and find s decent place to live. “I also need some car repairs so that I can drive across country to my new residence without my car breaking down and being stranded on the side of the road,” she says.
