Nicola Commisso Launches IndieGoGo Campaign to Fund Formula Drive Club

Nicola Commisso has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to fund a Ferrari Formula Drive Club and allow members the opportunity to drive the Ferrari F310B.

Nicola Commisso, a biotech and healthcare entrepreneur, is also passionate about motorsports in general and the Ferrari F1 in particular.  Now, Commisso has launched an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds to start a Ferrari club and offer members the opportunity to attend events and even drive the iconic Ferrari F310B driven by Michael Schumacher, the statistically greatest sportscar driver in history.

Commisso now has the opportunity to purchase Schumi’s F310.  Chassis Number 178 is the car in which Michael Schumacher won the Japanese Grand Prix and went into the final race of the season just one point ahead of Villeneuve.

The Formula Drive Club will allow Commisso to share his passion for F1 races and for Michael Schumacher with fellow fans. Members will have a chance to drive the car itself on certain days or receive discounts on driving experiences.  Commisso hopes to raise €2,500,000 in order to create the Formula Drive Club, buy the Ferrari F310B former Michael Schumacher Chassis No. 178, create a Club website with a dedicated area for members and supporters, manufacture and sell merchandise and branded products, participate in “Ferrari F1 Clienti” and other relevant events for F1 cars, and offer F1 driving experiences.

Located at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/have-a-chance-to-drive-a-f1-car, the IndieGoGo campaign offers several pledge levels.  All Club Big Contributors will earn one free F1 driving experience and can buy others at a discounted price, while all Club Sponsors earn two free driving experiences.  Ferrari F1 Clienti Driver Contributors will have the opportunity to drive the car in an event.  For more information on each pledge level and other prizes associated with this campaign, visit the IndieGoGo page.
