Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra to perform classical renditions of James Bond music
PRLog - April 2, 2015 - HARDEEVILLE, S.C. -- Jaguar Hilton Head is proud to sponsor the Symphony Under the Stars performance from the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra (HHSO), taking place underneath a festive tent at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. This year’s concert is titled “James Bond and Beyond,” promising a thrilling blend of modern and classic Bond features. The concert will take place on April 7th and 8th, 2015, and will offer light classical and pops music in an outdoor setting where you can bring your own picnic dinner for a casual classical experience. The picnic begins at 6pm, and music will start at 7:30pm.
The “Bond and Beyond” program was designed by HHSO maestro John Morris Russell, and has sold out all over Canada, so it promises to be a popular event. The program features music from 15 Bond films and other TV and movie classics. Broadway vocalist Capathia Jenkins will lend her musical talents to the performance. In addition, renowned Broadway actor Ron Bohmer will also perform. With this lineup of talent, this promises to be a can’t-miss event.
It wouldn’t be a pops concert without a little fun, so be sure to come in costume and decorate your table for a fully immersive experience. You can plan a simple picnic menu or bring a gourmet feast to share. The League will be offering wine, beer, soft drinks, and water for sale on site. Table seating for 10 is available if you have a large group, while individual concert seats or open lawn seats offer other options. Table seating is $80/70, concert seating is $60/50, and lawn seating is $25.
